Wednesday night Workshop this months songs

Jimmie Rodgers, who was very influential to the Bluegrass sound. We are going to have a series covering pre-bluegrass artists who were very influential to Bluegrass. For February we will cover Jimmie Rodgers. March will feature the Carter Family. April will cover Gid Tanner and the Skillet Lickers. Should be a fun and interesting time. Our Fiddle tune is Mississippi Sawyer. Mike is covering Soldiers Joy for the Flatpickers. Here is a link to Jimmie Rodgers "In the Jailhouse Now"

As you can see Jimmie Rodgers had a lot of influence on so many artists, hope you enjoyed this list. Also listened to the bass runs and licks that were added in these songs, licks you can use in your songs.
See you all on Wednesday
Jeff
