Wednesday Marana Workshop April Fools Day

hey all
Hope you had a great week! We are going to take a break from Progressions this week to work on jamming by having a jam circle. This will be in preparation for the upcoming Marana Bluegrass Festival and all the parking lot picking to be had.
We will still do our two songs to open with, I know we spoke about doing pre bluegrass groups but Jim is chomping at the bit to cover Jimmy Martin. So well cover "honey You Don't Know My Mind" and "Ocean of Diamonds". Our Fiddle tune will be "Eighth of January"

New jam

Hey all, we spoke about this at the last couple of Wednesday Workshops. If you plan to go, please thank Bob and Teri for their hospitality.

New Bluegrass Jam!

All levels are welcome, however, with the Desert Bluegrass Association 
providing excellent workshops twice a week for the beginning jammer, the 
intent of this jam will be to give "more confident" players of 
traditional bluegrass instruments an opportunity to play in an open jam 
setting, while developing skills moving toward the intermediate and 
better player.

The jams will be held in our home in Northwest Tucson. Jams "will not" 
be on a regular schedule, so to receive a notice of an upcoming jam, 
send your email contact to jam@russman.com .

Peter McGlaughlin guitar stolen

hey all,
 A great friend to the DBA and Tucson and Marana had his 1937 Martin D18 stolen out of his car Friday in Downtown Tucson. Please keep an eye out as it might show up at a swap meet, Craigslist, EBay, pawn shop or anywhere for that manner. Peter recently lost his dog also to old age recently. Please help if you can
