Angelina Baker fiddle and backing track

Here is a link to a Fiddle Lesson on Angelina Baker
Here's a step-by-step guide to this classic American tune. First I'll play a fast tempo version of the whole thing (0:53). Then we'll slowly learn each quarter of the A part, then the B part. We'll build up each phrases, adding 1-3 notes at a time. Below you’ll find left hand fingerings for each quarter. Use the time link to easily jump to whichever quarter you need to practice.

Try to stay with each phrase for awhile, repeating it in a continuous, nice-sounding loop. Once you have each quarter of the A part, assemble the 1st and 2nd quarters into the first half. then assemble the second half, then the whole A part. Take your time - stay with any part that is difficult, turn it into an exercise.
